Feeding the Bio-mass Boiler
1st March 2012
The new biomass boiler will take quite some feeding and Simon and his family gang have been thinning some of the timber we planted on the banks above the River Severn in the late 70’s.
This will then be brought down to The Home Farm Yard where it is stacked and air dried for about two years before chipping to heat amongst other things The Isle Bed and Breakfast. Re planting will commence this coming winter when we will introduce native hardwoods for future generations.
