Tufty with Miranda
Well it is that time of year again and sadly various small birds are falling out of nests. Tufty here is a juvenile swallow who is a would be 'Commonwealth games champion fly eater'.
After recently getting married abroad and looking to have a blessing in our local church in Bicton. At the same time we were looking for somewhere we could take back a few guests for pictures and drinks, i found the Isle Estate online and saw how beautiful the grounds looked!

Lovely house with wonderful views. Edward and Ros made us feel at home. Very comfortable stay in the Lavender Room. Delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
I came back again as it was such a relaxing interesting visit a few years ago. Great to be remembered and spend an pleasant evening chatting , listening to Edwards fascinating knowledge of local history. Ask to see the little box of historical artefacts they have.

Breakfast is the best and I compare this to other hotels of high quality - and this IS the best. Ros and Edward and family are warm welcoming hosts. Why stay anywhere else? We will be back again for sure.

Once we did thread our way through though, the welcome was warm and relaxing. A pot of tea served by a roaring log fire in the sitting room was very welcome.
We'd chosen the Blue and White Room, which was very comfortable. Loads of fun trying to figure out the massage settings on the bed!
We'd opted to dine in on both evenings, reasoning ...
