If you are looking for something a little different, affordably decadent... and down a rather long track, The Isle Estate in Shrewsbury is certainly worth a visit.
It's run by an absolutely charming family, who went out of their way to make us feel special. Natural hosts. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and peaceful. Coffee was excellent and breakfast was delicious. Can't comment on dinner as we ate out in town.

The bedroom was perfect too, very comfortable and a flask of milk provided for our early morning tea. Breakfast delicious. Hosts Ros and Edward extremely helpful and very friendly, nothing too much t...
