Just spent three nights enjoying the home of Ros and Edward Tate. They were extremely hospitable and made us all feel at home. Lovely home grown and cooked three course meals were provided every evening and were washed down with wine we had brought! Lovely surroundings and masses of animals everywhere was a winning combination for me.
If you stay anywhere in Shrewsbury, stay here. The welcome is second to none, the house is beautiful and you are made to feel like a member of the family the whole time. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the Isle a couple of nights a week for 8 months whilst working in the area. Ros and Edward were great hosts, making me feel very welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfasts great - nothing was too much trouble no matter how busy they were. I would recommend the Isle as a great place to stay whether doing some work or exploring the area.
