The Guild of Aviation Artists was formed in 1971 and is recognised throughout the world for the promotion of aviation art. The paintings on display in the Art Gallery have been specially selected to demonstrate the variety and scope of members’ work. They represent 100 years of the Royal Air Force in its centenary year. The paintings on display are all for sale and the RAF Museum receives a commission from sales.

Our current exhibition features incredible Reduction Lino Printes by Artist Eric Gaskell (BA Hons, SGFA, ARBSA)as well as fascinating Porclain with Collograph Prints by Theresa Barlow. Throughout our beautiful Gallery we also have a range of Artwork on display from our core Artists including Incredible Lino and Intaglio Etchings by Jenny Gunning, Pencil on Paper Drawings by world-renowned Artist Dave Gunning, Etched Sterling Silver Jewelry by Jo – Mollart Highfield, Beautiful Earthenware Pottery by Liz Gunning, Limited edition Prints by Sarah Morris, Incredible display of pottery by Paul Gooderham of Gailey Pottery, beautiful Watercolours by Rod Willis. Also on display are works by Gillian Stoakes, Rob Pountney, Liz Simmons, Bridget Irving, Greg Anston Race and Janet Jordan.
