Chipping wood for the bio-mass boiler
1st November 2012
Chipping wood for the bio-mass boiler was the event this month.
All the timber needed has to be air dried for about two years then the chipper is hired in to do the job. The model show is Austrian in origin costing £250k and will chip in the region of 20 tons and hour. Needless to say it does not come cheap but at £280/hour we can process enough to last us the best part of a year in 3 hours. Heating on in the house to keep the Bed and Breakfast toasty warm.
Lovely house with wonderful views. Edward and Ros made us feel at home. Very comfortable stay in the Lavender Room. Delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

This in itself was a great event as he is an enthusiastic conversationalist and, as I too love a natter, the booking in went frequently astray!! Introductions were made to family...

My friend and I had arranged a weekend in Shrewsbury to not only look around the area but also spend an evening on a ghost tour in the Prison. We found the Isle Estate online and what a find! We arrived down the very long country lane to find the entrance which is marked with two lovely old wall posts. The lane continues with some big speed humps along the way, however these did not cause us any real issues in a larger car. You may need to becareful when going down ...

After recently getting married abroad and looking to have a blessing in our local church in Bicton. At the same time we were looking for somewhere we could take back a few guests for pictures and drinks, i found the Isle Estate online and saw how beautiful the grounds looked! When i rang up Edward was completely welcoming and encouraged us to come see the Isle Estate and the rooms.. We were not disappointed!! We stayed over in the White and Blue room which was just lovely, the bed was very comfortable and we had the best nights sl...
