'Pink Potter' Walk around the Isle Estate
13th June 2011
Harvest forecasts are down for the majority of North Western Europe and whilst our cereals look in good health we desperately need the rain now if our yields are not to suffer too much.
On Sunday the 5th of this month we held ‘The Pink Potter’ our first walk for ‘Breakthrough Breast Cancer’ (http://breakthrough.org.uk/) and what did we have...........yes rain. However there was a great turnout of walkers and dogs which have all helped to raise money for the charity. Many thanks must go to the Breakthrough team who put so much work in and also to the fishermen, metal detectors, farmer, ecologist and historian who all brought The Isle Estate alive with their superb talks throughout the day.
